This may be the last post from me for a long time.

Fingers crossed.

As an opening thought: There is only one side to any story, that being the side that you perceive.

I have no urge to update this journal. On the one hand, most of my precious words are devoted to my writing, these days; I produce what I can at work, and when I return home I force myself to spend time in games and other recreation that I can't partake of while at work. This leads to little energy and effort directed to the formulation of entries that, frankly, no one cares about.

On the other hand, everything I ever post is negative, because my life is a nonstop stream of negativity. Today I worked my third twelve hour shift in a row, and third day out of twelve straight (which includes *five* twelve hours shifts in a row, Saturday through Wednesday). A massive computer downtime tripled my work for a span of about three hours, and they're introducing a new duty for us that basically doubles my workload, while leaving most of the rest of my coworkers unaffected.

And this is not the worst thing that has happened to me of late.

So I'm shutting down. I'll post again the next time something GOOD happens to me. Until then, anyone who actually cares knows how to keep track of me if they want. See you later.

Because [livejournal.com profile] ehzoterik tagged me, and I've got nothing better to do while I wait for the girl upstairs to stop showering:

Explain your LiveJournal name and its meaning. When you're done, tag as many people as there are letters in your name.

In my very earliest writings, I, of course, had dragons. In the multiverse this writing spanned, the most potent good dragons and their evil counterparts formed organizations known as Circles, each composed of seven dragons. The good dragons consisted of Life, Light, Time, Love, Beauty... the evil ones were Death, Darkness, Despair, Space... I honestly don't remember them all. In any case the hero of the group was really the Dragon of Life. After I abandoned my initial writing like the crap it was, I retooled the stories once again, but I kept the same divisions of dragons and the concept of titled dragons being of immense power, and again the hero remained Wraith, the Dragon of Life. At the time my own identification with dragons was also strengthening, so I vaguely took the title on for myself as well. When I finally decided to create a livejournal, it seemed the most distinctive way to identify myself.

Screw tagging people, though, I'll never get 12 people to do this.

Massive interest update. The first one since this journal's inception, in fact.

So, after doing some thinking, I've decided I need to be a little bit more productive in my Livejournal. Not necessarily along the lines of "this is what happened today, blah blah." Some people take the attitude that their livejournal is for themselves only, and they'll write whatever they want. There's nothing wrong with that. I, on the other hand, take the opinion that my journal is written specifically for the people who read it -- in other words, I want to entertain, or provide information that the people who read it might want to know.

So if I'm going to be more productive, then all I can ask is a receptive audience who is willing to offer an opinion on what I'm producing. So if you want to encourage me, the path is clear, neh?

Yeah. I'm a damn sheep.
The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

Okay, this has been long put-off, and it's finally time to do it.

It's time for a friends-list sweep.

Most of you aren't in any danger; it's just a couple of journals here and there that I find myself breezing over just out of habit these days. Still, if you really think you're in danger, and really don't want me cleaning you out, let me know.

Going to bed with an odd urge I don't comprehend.

Tomorrow I go in to complete my paperwork for my new job. I'll also get fingerprinted for a criminal background check, no doubt! Woohoo!

I kicked the butt of the cold. Being the Dragon of Life has its advantages. Err, if only they were complete. (Sorry, [livejournal.com profile] cyfis...)

Only $100 of my $800 check I deposited has cleared. This is very strange and I do not understand it.

Did random searches on LJ which were utterly unproductive. Say, I'm curious. Does anyone out there read my journal regularly on someone else's friends list?

Thanks to my wonderful [livejournal.com profile] tigerphoenix, dragonoflife is now a paid account!

Hooray!

Now I need to find new icons. What should I get 'em from?

DBZ? Trigun? Slayers? Video games?

Give me hints! I can capture images from anything I can put on a TV screen. Later I'll slap up a huge selection and put up a poll!

Dragon's back!
We're thieving DSL from the apartment across the hall. It's slow and not the best solution, but I can't complain!

Miss me?

Random people have made me their LJ friends.

Random people! I command you! Come forth and speaketh righteously and truly: Who art thou? And whence has thou come to visit me?

Questions!
Sara wonders:
1. Why're you so sweet?

I'm not.

2. What's the craziest thing you ever did?
I think it would be climbing on top of my elementary school to retrieve a baseball. It took a giant braced tree branch and two hours of effot.
I found some golf balls too!

3. Pomegranates. Why?

The seeds are yummy and make a huge mess!

4. What's your favorite FOOD!?
Oh, I can't decide. I like so many things, and don't get them enough because I'm in college. I don't think I can say. :D

Moonmama demands to know:

1. Is there anything about you that would shock others if they knew? if so, what is it?

It might shock a lot of people to discover I have a relationship. But in general, I doubt there's any big scary secrets I have!

2. Did that two fingered wave between Trunks and Vegeta mean anything, or was it just a wave?

Hey, that's more emotion than Vegeta's shown his entire life. :D Compare how Vegeta blew Trunks off in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, for example. Vegeta isn't exactly the best at displaying positive emotions, after all.

3. Can I reserve the right to ask more questions any time I like?

Sure, but I reserve the right to not answer. :D

Nichevo inquires:

Do you like being in love?

The conditions are the absolute worst thing I have ever had to endure. In many ways it's more torturous than not being in love. That said -- well, I wouldn't give it up for the world. It keeps me sane, it keeps me alive. And I'm happy.

Hey, anyone got any questions to ask me?

Yeah, it's not original, but I'm doin' it anyway. :D

I drew it myself. :D
