Evanescence is stalking me. I woke up to Bring Me To Life and a cover of Heart-Shaped Box this morning. I want that album. I wish I had money.

Damn, note to self-- send in the rent money. The bitch upstairs is getting evicted, Dragon, that doesn't mean you should!

The X featured Evanescence live today, or at least two members of the band. I got to hear Bring Me To Life performed live! All I have to say is that the lead singer has one *hell* of a voice. As a firm advocate of more girls in the hard rock/heavy metal/alt metal supergenre, I heartily approve.

Also heard the Johnny Cash version of Hurt. It's... well, creepy.

Good music day today.

I'm newly addicted to Evanescance, which is the sole reason I bought the Daredevil soundtrack. I heard "Bring Me to Life" on The X (local alt station) and was immediately and hopelessly hooked. Of course, now [livejournal.com profile] tigerphoenix has my copy...

[livejournal.com profile] siliconrose, I vow to get you hooked on this directly. Everyone else -- you need to listen to Bring Me to Life.

I wish I could sleep, but I'm so wrecked after today;s day at work that I can't. I can't give too many details, because of confidentiality, but let's just say it involved epileptic seizures, a lot of bleeding, and some serious panicking on my part.

I've worked 15 consecutive days now, although not for full hours on some of those days. I'm going to hit 19 before finally getting a full day off on Friday. This assumes no staff meeting on said Day of Fry; if there is one I'm bumped up to 20. On the upside, I get overtime pay, holiday pay, and holiday overtime pay for all of this, so maybe I can finally afford the computer.

Of course, the video game industry is trying to sabotage my dream, as Dark Cloud 2, .hack Infection, and a new Breath of Fire game. Hey [livejournal.com profile] cyfis, [livejournal.com profile] siliconrose, you guys know about .hack... what's the deal with it?

Ugh. Feel unwell. Stupid physiological meltdown.
