If there's one career I totally would have jumped on, and even regret not pursuing just a little these days, it would be the study and science of geysers.
Because geyser are pure awesome. Seriously: numerous geothermal and geological coincidence combine to produce hundreds of natural fountains that hurl water hundreds of feet into the air. Add in that these are geological features which not only evolve on a human scale, but do so *quickly*, at times literally overnight.
I've been feeling extremely nostalgic over my childhood trips to Yellowstone, obviously. Maybe I'll convince
tigerphoenix that we should retire up in that area someday.
