Hello! So how are things with you? I so rarely get to talk to you any more, mostly because I'm shy about bothering you while you're busy with life way out there.
I feel obligated to inform you that your kittens are insanely cute. I'm jealous beyond compare. I hope to get a betta soon.
Thank you very much for your critiquing of my writing. Your feedback was very helpful! I hope to improve my posting format soon.
Dude, are you okay? You sound a little strange. ^^
I should reach out more, but I'm usually too tired to try and initiate a conversation. Most of my time I spend playing video games, reading, or otherwise doing single person activities.
^^ Yes, yes they are. Kittens do have their downsides, though.
I'm sure you'll do fine. Just adding spaces between the paragraphs would make it infinitely better. You don't have to play with HTML, though I do. If you get some time, could you critique mine as well? Is there something holding you back from doing so?
I don't know? I am working the night shift, which is rare and a dramatic sleep alteration for me, so I probably haven't fully adjusted. And I've been running a weird mood lately anyway. Is it bad?
I understand entirely about the "reaching out" thing. I'm in a similar situation, after all, although I don't actually have the option of doing multi-person activities at all, so...
Kittens' upsides make up for their downsides a hundred times over.
I do want to include formatting alterations such as italics and so forth, although that's really the only thing I include. As regarding your writing... The two parts to it are 1) I'm lazy, and don't do stuff I should, and 2) I'd like an idea of what you're looking for, specifically. I'm not very experienced with fanfic at all.
It's not bad, I'd just say the tone of your writing was significantly different than I'm accustomed to.
...You know, I can't tell whether it's good or bad that I've been struck with the obsession not to end my sentences with prepositions.
Anyways.
Mmm, don't worry about it too much. But if you do decide to read and edit, basically look for all the normal things in writing, flow, grammar, sense, spelling, etc., and then add in making sure the characterization is canon and I didn't blatently contradict any canon facts. I treat my fanfiction exactly as I treat my original writing.
I'll try. I try to edit actual punctuation, flow, etc. with a light hand, as I don't want to impose my writing style on anyone else. So if it sounds all right to me, I won't touch it, even if I think personally it would sound better some other way.
