1. You're awesome. You really are. In some ways you remind me of myself; I don't think I've ever really known anyone fire-aspected like you, and it's certainly been interesting. Despite our explosions at each other, it's great being your friend, and I'm glad to have met you.

1. Sometimes you drive me crazy, doing the same things over and over again and seeming to expect different results -- or the same, self-destructive ones. 1. I'm glad that after those rocky months, we've actually gotten on speaking terms, and dare I say friendly ones at that? I don't think I've quite gotten past your mask to start getting to know the real you yet, but time will tell if I can or not. Whatever happens, I much prefer being your friend to being your antagonist.

1. I think we understand each other a bit more than you think. I can certainly understand a lot of your positions; I just don't agree with them. But I think that in its way, that's a good thing. It keeps us from getting too complacent about our own beliefs. One way or the other, though, it's good to have you in my life.
