I have successfully built a computer. Thus far, with complete functionality and only minimal problems in construction!

If anyone wants techincal details, I can post 'em... I just wanted to spread the good word. I built a computer. And named it BAFL, both because it is baffling that I managed to build it successfully, and because having done so, I can successfully claim to be one BadAss Freakin' overLord. Hyaaaa haa ha ha ha ha!

If I reaaaaally wanted to be completist, I'd max out everybody's stats and complete all the Gummi missions, but I have my plate full of tedious leveling in trying to nail Disgaea.

Think I'll just beat it, file it under "games I've beaten so thoroughly there's nothing left to accomplish with them," and then pull out FFX2 with the intent of relegating IT to that category as well...

That was a quick turnaround, not that I'm surprised given how one-sided the appeal was. I win, I still get benefits! Ha!

I think I can safely say my unemployment compensation appeal hearing went well.

On the one hand, I think I presented my case very well. Off the record, the arbiter asked me if I was a pre-law student, and said I had done a pretty good job.

On the other, my old employer didn't even show up!

That was a lot easier than I thought. And I'll know next week.

FINDINGS OF FACT

1. The Claimant was last employed on 5/27/2004
2. The Claimant's job title was Senior Advisor
3. The Claimant was discharged for: rules violations
4. The Claimant was working at the time of the incident which caused the separation
5. Prior warning was not given before the separation.
6. The Claimant's conduct was not serious enough that a dismissal was warranted without a warning.
7. The rules that the Claimant violated do not rise to the level of willful misconduct.

In other words -- suck it, Step-by-Step, unemployment compensation for me!
