One of my roommates has decided that once again, his minor wants outweight my major needs, and so here I am unable to sleep for loud music blaring through my walls.

Time to spin up heavy metal CDs and leave them on all night. I'm out of options except to torture them right back.

I'm so tired...

Try writing a formal complaint to housing management at the school.. they should do something about him. all you have to do is not list your name, but make a general complaint as someone in the building.. it can't be traced back to you as the complainant, but can be traced to the perp.of the exccessive noise. OK?

Won't work. I work in housing, after all, I know how they run things. Housing would direct it to the RA, if they did anything. RAs have no power.

Aside from which, the quiet policy calls for no noise to come from a room that can be heard from ten feet away. I'm closer to both roommates than ten feet, so I have absolutely no protection.

Buy some cork board and put it on your walls. Deadens sound, gives you a place for lots of notes. ;)
