I put in an Amazon.com order for a couple of books on Monday, and got the free shipping type -- 5-9 days is the estimate.

When the order shipped, they estimated it'd be here on the 10th. It got here today. Man.

I love it when that happens. ^^

The only thing is, when I have the choice of shipping methods and I know it's likely to arrive in 2 days even using a less expensive method (when I know it ships out close to me, or something similar), I always have to fight between the certainty of slight regret when it arrives on time or the possibility of more significant regret if it arrives later.

Guaranteed. Funny how we'll sometimes pay so much for such a little word.

Yeah, Amazon has a distribution center in Delaware, so it's always nice and fast for our area. I bought an album and it got to me 3 days ahead of when they said.
