For those of you who don't pay attention to such things, I'm the raid leader of my WoW guild. This means, among other things, that it's my job to set times and get together groups for raiding endgame dungeons. In our guild's case, these are 10-man raids, so ten people.
As a previous post I made noted, I've been having some trouble with this. Aside from our co-GM refusing to do anything this week, our other major raids are cancelled owing to one of our DPS being out for one, and just not being able to get enough people for another. So I trashed all of our normal raids for this week and put up a Naxx, a 10-man raid our main group of people has already mostly cleared, for alts and people who still need things.
Five minutes before it was supposed to start it turned into a miserable "I'm not coming if he's coming" petty politicking, featuring me getting reamed out for following official guild policy to make the raid happen (inviting people from within the guild).
Nothing goes right. Nothing ever, ever goes right.
