So my roommate, who has an 8:30 class this morning, decides to go to bed at approximately 2 at night, after complaining how tired he is and how caffeine has no effect on him any more.

This morning I wake up at 6:00. I don't realize WHY I woke up until a few minutes of consciousness pass and I realize music is coming from my roommate's radio alarm. He shuts it off after a few minutes. It wakes us up twice more.

Finally I get annoyed and ask him if he's going to let it go off every seven minutes for the next two hours. (If I hadn't asked, the answer would be yes.) He grudgingly turns it off and gets up. I can't help but ask why the heck he set his alarm for 6:00 anyway.

"I still have some work to do," he says.

He goes outside and does his work while I go back to sleep. My alarm wakes me up at 8:30, as usual. It's loud, obnoxious ringing. He -- with a RADIO ALARM, mind you -- wonders if it's mine from below me. At this he realizes the time, curses a lot, and -- in no hurry -- casually begins to get ready for his 8:30 class.
