Hey, at least you didn't have to spend days and weeks anticipating the root canal. Buncha my friends have had THAT lovely experience.

My dentist has always been pretty darn prompt about getting them done. (Occasionally to his dismay...)

Once had a nerve in a tooth die on me the weekend beginning spring break. Had to wait until break was over and I was back at school for the canal, during which the nerve died. An experience I never want to go through again.

The only cool thing about that was the dentist was able to give me the root canal without novacaine. I felt nothing.
