A question for you computer geeks out there:
When my computer tells me "This machine was not properly shut down and is now running at safe speed, please DEL to BIOS setup to set correct CPU speed"... What am I supposed to do?
(Aside from the obvious, of course, since I have no idea what the hell that MEANS.)

Core speed x Multiplier = Processor speed.
Alternately, you could try stepping up the core spped to the fastest point at which your computer is still stable.

You can try this page, the hardware method? I believe you've prodded around in your system before.

Not that it matters for my dead computer.
