It's not bad, I'd just say the tone of your writing was significantly different than I'm accustomed to.

Mmm, don't worry about it too much. But if you do decide to read and edit, basically look for all the normal things in writing, flow, grammar, sense, spelling, etc., and then add in making sure the characterization is canon and I didn't blatently contradict any canon facts. I treat my fanfiction exactly as I treat my original writing.
