I have to say, I was expecting the transition from 1024x768 to 1280x1024 to be rougher, but I adapted really quickly. On the other hand, I thought the same about going from 800x600 to 1024x768, so maybe it's just all in the head.

Transitions up are easy. It's trying to go back, once you're used to the real estate, that's hard.
