I can't recommend turning on the beta Create Entries page enough. It's absolutely amazing. Having all the fields I care about to one side of my page is just... so simple and yet so very nice.

I turned on all the beta features for an account or two of mine, but for some reason the icon browser just won't work for me. I'm not sure what I've done wrong, but no matter where I try to comment I just get the normal keyword pull-down.

I've also been trying to pick styles for my RP journals, but I've run into one huge problem with that. On LJ, the majority of styles I ever used put the journal name and community name under the userpic, which I like. On DW, most of the layouts put it as another line in the post data. I MUCH prefer it offset and to the side, rather than another line I have to specifically hunt for amongst the others.

Only one layout that I've found does that (Drifting), and it has some serious other flaws, like the fact that the text for the post actions (Link, Reply, etc.) is like twice the goddamn size of the entry text! And the sidebar is jammed too close to the reading column.

Not sure what to do about this. :/
