It's been hot out here like crazy. I don't think it's dipped below highs of 90+ every day this week. It hasn't been a sane high-temperature this month. And humid! Damn you east coast!

At the dermatologist the other day I had a skin biopsy on my upper calf, and that sucker is NOT pleasant. Aside from getting infected, it hurts like hell every time I stand. Walking is fine for some reason, but standing is not.

Somehow a conversation near me wandered to a Star Trek movie marathon convention thing. A coworker commented that he didn't understand Star Trek cosplay, because it was just uniforms.

Me: "There were a lot of variations in the uniforms across the various seasons and shows."
Coworker: "That's true, there were."
Other coworker: "Uh-oh." ::Gets up and walks out to avoid the conversation::
