Dragon of Life

Last night on WoW was technically our Ulduar raiding night, but one of our priests is MIA this week (possibly due to moving or parental health problems or something; she has a good excuse anyway, I'm sure). Still, we had 10 people available and people were eager, so I asked everyone if they wanted to go kill Flame Leviathan. (NonWoWers note: Flame Leviathan doesn't require anything but gear to kill. Any 10 people will do.) I asked everyone if anyone DIDN'T want to do it, and got no responses.

So we slowly form up, summon, get in the instance, get everyone ready -- and abruptly the co-GM of our guild decides he doesn't want to do it. Not by telling us, but by AFKing out of a ready check, then having the other GM pass that on to me.

So nine other people's hopes dashed and time wasted without even an apology or word of explanation. NO ONE in our group would begrudge someone just not feeling up to something, or even having begged out in the first place, but to just drop out, without word, after making everyone wait on you for about twenty minutes? What. the. Fuck?

Then this morning Metro was running 45 minutes late.

What next?
