I'm back from work. I can't actually say too much about it, 'cuz of confidentiality and all that -- I'm working in people's homes, so privacy is a big issue.

Well, I can't say much about the people, anyway, but the job itself looks like more or less a piece of cake. I have to get trained for a lot of things, as previously noted, but that will all happen in due time. In the meantime, my duties consist of helping out the residents with stuff, talking to them, and generally make sure they're good and taking care of themselves and so forth.

In short, for the most part I'm being paid to watch TV. There's even food involved.

On the downside, it's a bit... slow? I need to think of things to do to occupy myself that I can actually get away with.

Working 3-11 for the rest of the week except Friday, and 12-8 on Saturday, which means I'll get to stay up late role-playing, hit Mage, and still have some time to spend with my beloved tigerphoenix on Friday and Saturday evening.

When I get my first paycheck (Nov. 15), I'll be happy! When I hit my six month mark and all my benefits kick in, I'll be happier still.

All in all, I feel satisfied, and content.
