The repair job is, in fact, quoted between $800 and $1200, depending on the extent of the damage once they get in there to repair it.

Jiffy Lube didn't actually leave anything unhooked. Between the thermostat and the gasket, the hose in question actually melted clean off the radiator.

Unfortunately, I have no way to prove absolutely that Jiffy Lube was responsbile, even though it was the most likely source of damage.
