Ain't it great? :) I picked up a widescreen on Black Friday to replace my 8-year-old Dell CRT and what a world of difference it makes. First time I ever saw the gryphon/eagle things on the ends of the action bar! I had to just fly around for like an hour and see all the landscapes in glorious 1920x1080...

I keep hearing awesome things about Mass Effect, but I am cheap and have no extra time. So I guess I can vicariously recommend it.
