The culture is a bit limited inasmuch as I have a nice view of the Capitol building on the walk, but little actual else that stands out distinctively. The people themselves are more useful to look at in terms of characters and appearences I might not have otherwise thought of. Given as I tend to stick to fantasy, though, the sort of commercialized/service-economized behavior of the crowds milling to and from work is harder to apply. Maybe if I write something in entering-industrial times...
